BEAUTY AND GRACE
The unmistakable sweet fragrance of a lilac bush is a harbinger of all things good. Easy to care for once established, lilacs require at least 6 hours of full sun. They like humus-rich soil that is neutral to slightly alkaline (pH around 7) and with excellent drainage. They don't need to be fertilized often: just once a year in the later winter with an organic balanced fertilizer will do.
The reward? Lush, beautiful bouquets of sweet smelling butterfly magnets right outside your door.
